From conflict resolution to executing change, panelists share experiences from family-owned businesses that can apply to all. Hosted by Press Herald Business Editor Carol Coultas. We’ll have coffee.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. with coffee and networking until 8:00 a.m. when the program begins. Program ends at 9 a.m.

About the moderator:

Hosted by Business editor Carol Coultas. Carol Coultas has been practicing journalism in Maine since the mid-‘80s and focusing on business journalism since 2003. She’s been the business editor at the Press Herald, overseeing an award-winning staff, since 2014.

About the panelists:

Colleen McCracken is a partner at Quad Group. Colleen has spent the last 20+ years working as a non-family member President and CEO of two well-known family businesses in Maine, Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers and Planet Dog.

Christine Viscone is the owner and general manager of Highland Farms in Scarborough, a 70-year-old produce farm and garden center.

Maureen Lafferty, Director of Talent & Learning for L.L. Bean. Maureen has been at L.L. Bean for 28 years and has held a variety of roles in Human Resources, with areas of focus on organization development, change management and leader development. She currently oversees the professional and seasonal hiring as well as the learning and development programs.
