Volunteers from the Greater Portland Workforce Initiative and the Maine Career Development Association will be available all afternoon to help you find your best matches. With a Career Advisor, you can meet 1:1 with a professional to test out your Career Fair “pitch” and map your approach to the exhibitors, get tips on creating or revising your resume to best describe your skills and experience, learn about available support for training and employment both in and outside the Fair and more.
Make your LinkedIn and resumés pop with a free professional portrait from our on-site photographer.

Defining Your Value to a Future Employer: Being the Solution to Their Problem with Scott Woodard
12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
How do you define your value to a future employer in a clear and confident way? Woodard customizes a framework of Purpose, Clarity, Focus, and Strategy to help clients identify and articulate the story of their unique value and advance their careers. He will help you develop clear, concise, crisp (not canned) stories that convey your value; how you achieve that value; and examples of those achievements. He then develops strategies that help get you to where you want to be.
